The hookah hose is one of the most important components of a hookah. It transports the smoke from the smoke column to the mouth of the user and thus provides the typical enjoyment. There are countless different hookah hoses with which you can upgrade your model functionally and stylishly, but a good hose is also very important for a great hookah session. However, not all hoses are created equal.

The Hookah silicone hose is the ideal choice for those who value easy care. It can be washed out easily and is relatively insensitive. However, it does not absorb the flavor of the tobacco as well as other hoses, which may be a disadvantage for some. On the other hand, this has the advantage of not adulterating the flavor of the tobacco - especially for those who like to smoke different types of tobacco.
An innovation in silicone hoses for Hookah is an antistatic silicone hose also called soft touch hose. This has a matte and soft surface on which less dust and other dirt sticks in contrast to the normal silicone hoses.
Silicone hoses are a good basis to put together your own hookah hose. When it comes to the look of your hookah, not only can you customize your hookah to your liking with multiple hoses.

Traditional hookah hoses

Besides the silicone hose, you can often find strikingly large hoses made of leather. Traditional hookah hoses made of leather are very popular and are often used only for one flavor and one hookah. The classic double apple and grape mint tobacco are considered prime examples. The reason for this lies in the peculiarity that leather hoses over time takes on the flavor of the smoked hookah tobacco and this intensifies, of course, if you use the hose again and again only for the same flavor. However, when using traditional hookah hoses, you should be careful not to wash them out, as moisture accumulates inside the hose, which can cause mold. Therefore, we recommend hanging leather hoses after smoking instead of washing them out.

Proper care of the hookah hose

You have the feeling that all hookah tobaccos taste the same? Then it's time to clean your hose! Over time, small particles and especially aromas settle in the hose. This can distort the taste. So clean your hose promptly and at regular intervals. It is best to clean it at least twice a week to prevent coarse dirt from settling in the first place. This way, the hookah always stays hygienic and tastes really good!
Silicone hoses can be washed with water without any problems - you can even put them completely under water and rinse them. This is not so easy with traditional hoses made of synthetic or goatskin, because there is usually a metal spiral inside, which rusts when it comes into contact with water, and the inside can start to mold. Therefore, it is recommended to use this type of hose only for one kind of tobacco. In our shop you will only find silicone hoses in many different colors - both we personally and probably 90% of hookah smokers do not use anything else.
After you have cleaned the hose to the mouthpiece and connected the base, you can start preparing the rest of the hookah. Once everything is ready, you're ready to go! Enjoy the smoke through the hookah hose into the smoke column and into the water - this creates the typical bubbling. Sit back and let your exhausting day come to a comfortable end.
